Junior CSI Forensics Class
has now come to an end...

Look and see what I have learned.

Todays final lesson,
Anthropology.

We studied a REAL case
on Lake Murray, SC.

I think he came out GREAT!

This class had a lot of
fun things to learn,
just take a peek at the list:

Protecting a Crime Scene (5 steps)
Fingerprinting
Handwriting Analysis
Identifying a Criminal
Blood Splatter
Bite Mark Analysis
Hair Analysis
Ink Chromatography
Searching through Evidence
The importance of good notes for court
Test Your Memory
Piecing together Evidence
Psychology Experiment (Lie detector)
Examining a Body
Forensic Entomology
Collecting Evidence
History of Bertillon Method
Anthropology

We also had a field trip to the SC Forensics Lab.
I was able to see all their equipment used,
and the new machine that will get DNA results in 24 hrs.

(I believe this machine was designed
by a man that lives right here in SC.)

My favorite class was Forensic Entomology!
The BLOWFLIES were cool!

My friend in the class played "Mr. Body"!

I enjoy watching crime shows....
And I can really follow along with what they are doing.
Because I did it too!

Our CSI kits are AWESOME!
There's so much more to learn,
and I can keep adding to my kit.

Thank You

 MY FIELD TRIP....
to Historic Edgefield, SC

They have a GREAT Town Square...

I learned the history of pottery making...

He even collects his own clay...

Then we left his shop....
and on to the Blacksmith...

She had a lot of pretty art work there...

This place has been around since 1917...
(that's the year my Great Grandmother was born!)

Then we went to see the carpenter...
He showed us tools used in the 1800's

He knew the history of the town really well.
And his grandfather, dad, children, and
grandchildren all know this skill...

Mom says I can start with a bar of soap!

But you want to know what this
town is also known for.....

TURKEYS

TURKEYS...

AND MORE TURKEYS....

HUGE TURKEYS!

THEY'RE EVERYWHERE !!!

I would come here again!
There's ALOT more to learn about this town...

And I missed a few pictures of other turkeys.

Renaissance Festival, Huntersville, NC

I love traveling around
to see new things...

Look at where
I went now....

The Renaissance Festival

I'm studying the
Renaissance now in school too...

One of my favorites was the jousting...

Then they battled to the death with swords!

My knight won...
Hooray!!!

Leonardo da Vinci created
a great flying machine...

I got to see the King and Queen up close...

Then I took a tour of the Dungeon...
This is where they tortured people...

Do you see the orbs by
The Head Crusher...?

They move....

There was alot here to see...

And the place looked so cute...

There were so many friends here too...

Do you see another orb?
(It's by the statue's hat.)

GHOST TOURS ARE AWESOME...

SAVANNAH, GA

My second time here at this city....
and I LOVED IT...

but note to self:
DO NOT LIVE HERE
HAUNTED AREA

My paranormal education has
officially begun... here's what I saw.

First stop...
THE PIRATE HOUSE...
People say they've been in here.
And heard from Captain Flint say
"MORE RUM"

We rode past the
HENRY HOUSE...
And I thought I saw a mouth
and an eye starring at me...

The Cemetery
Still today,
no cure for "yellow fever"
and I do not want to catch it.

And people were sometimes
buried alive.  Scratches were found
inside the coffins.  Because the last
stage of yellow fever is a coma.
 So they started tying a
string to a finger, attached to a bell.
If the grave digger heard the bell,
he'd dig up the person.

We were in a warehouse
that always has ghost activity.

We were even allowed to
try our own ghost hunt.

MY FIRST ONE
with an electronic device
that will light up when there's a
spirit nearby.

I didn't find any this time....

The locals can give reports
of seeing or hearing things just about
anywhere in this city.

This tour had so many great
ghostly stories to share...

Everyone should come aboard
this trolley for a great experience.

I LOVE SAVANNAH
